Alyssa Zucchet recived her Bachelor’s of Science degree in Biology and Chemistry and the Governor General’s Silver Medal at the University of the Fraser Valley (UFV) in 2016. It was there that she developed a passion for research, working in both cell biology and organic chemistry labs, as well as publishing a research article on human physiology in FACETS Journal. Today, Alyssa is an MD candidate in the University of British Columbia (UBC) class of 2020 with an interest in women’s and sexual health, and hopes to pursue these topics professionally.
